The Beat Diabetes campaign is a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative introduced by the Landmark Group. The Walk is a flagship event of the Beat Diabetes initiative. The initiative advocates diabetes prevention and management by following three simple steps– Eat Healthy, Get Active and Take the Test.
Last year, the Walk had over 60,000 participants across seven countries in GCC and India. This year The Beat Diabetes walk will take place at Zabeel Park on Friday 12 of December.
How to win TV or Iphone?
By registering to beatdiabetes.me one will get the chance to win a TV or an Iphone6. Registration fee is AED 20 which will goes to Al Jalila Foundation to raise funds to support diabetes research and healthcare in the UAE. You can order your Walk Kit which has the T- shirt, once you register online for the walk. The T-shirt will be delivered to you by Aramex.
